You are not just part of the crowd. You are part of the body.
Every believer has a place in the body of Christ. Not everyone is called to preach from a pulpit, sing on a platform, or lead a ministry. However, every one of us has something valuable that God can use.
Your gifts may be expressed through hospitality, prayer, follow-up, children’s ministry, worship, outreach, media, administration, encouragement, leadership, or serving behind the scenes.
The question is not whether God can use you. The question is whether you are willing to discover what He placed inside you and take your next step.
Your place may be closer than you think.
Your passions, experiences, abilities, and concern for others can provide important clues about the assignment God has given you.

Passion
Discover what God placed inside of you.
Your passions can provide clues about the people, needs, ministries, and assignments that God has placed on your heart.
This session will help you begin recognizing the things that energize you, concern you, and move you toward action.
In this session, you will explore:
- The things that naturally move your heart
- The people and needs you care about most
- Your interests, abilities, and life experiences
- The difference between passion, talent, and spiritual gifting
- How passion can provide clues to your calling
In this session, you will explore:
- Why every believer has a role in the body of Christ
- How your passion can connect with a practical assignment
- How your gifts support the mission of the church
- Why every ministry role is valuable
- Ministry areas where you may be called to serve
Purpose
Understand the assignment connected to your passion.
God does not give us passion simply so we can feel excited. He gives us passion because there is a purpose connected to it.
This session will help you understand how your unique gifts can support the vision of the church and make a difference in the lives of others.
Potential
Begin developing and using what God placed inside of you.
Potential is not only what God placed inside you. Potential is what God wants to bring out of you.
Your gifts grow as you use them. You do not have to wait until you feel completely ready before taking your first step.
In this session, you will explore:
- Why potential must be developed
- How gifts grow through faithful service
- How to move beyond fear and insecurity
- Why you do not have to feel completely ready
- How to choose a practical ministry next step
By the end of Find Your Place, you will have greater clarity about how God can use you.
You do not have to know everything before you begin. You simply need a willing heart and the courage to take your next step.

Do I need to already be involved in ministry?
No. Find Your Place is designed to help you discover where you may fit, whether you have never served before or are preparing for a new season.
Do I have to attend all three sessions?
We strongly encourage you to attend all three because each session builds upon the previous teaching.
Where will the sessions take place?
All three sessions will be hosted live online through Zoom. Registered participants will receive access information by email.
What should I bring?
Bring your Bible, something to take notes with, and a heart that is open to what God wants to show you.
Will I be required to join a ministry?
No. The purpose is to help you prayerfully discover your gifts, explore opportunities, and identify an appropriate next step.
Is there a cost to participate?
There is no cost to participate. Registration helps us prepare for everyone attending and send the Zoom information and reminders.
Will the sessions be recorded?
Recording availability will be announced during the experience. Participants are encouraged to attend live whenever possible.
